The 2019 cycle of courses of the NaMeX School of Advanced Networking ended last month. This first round of courses was welcomed with great enthusiasm by our affiliates and we received an incredibly high number of requests to participate. All the courses have been offered completely free of charge for professionals working for the NaMeX affiliates and have been delivered in cooperation with Reiss Romoli.
In total we offered 9 courses with almost 140 attendees in total.
Based on these excellent results we have decided to replicate this initiative in 2020.
Maurizio Goretti, NaMeX CEO, said:
“As a Consortium we are very satisfied with the outcome of these courses. The workshops were really challenging but the majority the participants managed to succeed in the final examination. More than 80% of the participants got the NaMeX Open Badge certification.”
Open Badges are verifiable digital badges that have embedded metadata about skills and achievements. They’re shareable on the web and they can be also added to digital CVs. This certification allows all the participants of the School of Advanced Networking to have proof of their high qualification, enriching their professional profiles on Social Media.
“The precious collaboration with Reiss Romoli gave us the possibility to provide our members with the most advanced and up to date training in the telecommunication field. In particular, the popularity of the BGP courses indicates that among the Italian ISPs there is always a demand for updates related to peering. We are always happy to support our members, also by supplying them with advanced training opportunities for their network specialists.”
