NaMeX, in collaboration with ANIX (the Albanian Neutral Internet Exchange) and RASH (the Academic Network of Albania), held a full-day BGP training in Tirana, aimed at increasing and complementing the skills of Albanian network engineers after supporting the creation of the first neutral Internet Exchange in Albania.
Nearly 20 people attended the training, representing 10 entities (ISPs, content providers, system integrators and academia). The training had a theory and a practical part, featuring a set of virtual BGP labs built by NaMeX.
In the evening, NaMeX sponsored an informal gathering of ALNOG (the Albanian Network Operators Group), where Albanian network operators could meet and discuss networking issues around drinks and finger food.
