In his welcome speech at the last NaMeX Annual Meeting, President Riccardo De Sanctis underscored the need to update NaMeX’s Charter.
Our Consortium was founded in 1995. As provided for by Italian law, the Charter specifies an expiration date, set at 2020, unless the assembly extends it.
In the words of NaMeX’s President: “Going forward, we need to set another expiration date, in sync with the change of our legal headquarters, now distinct from CINECA.”
This would be also a good occasion to upgrade the Charter in line with technological and market innovation seen in the past 25 years. Thus by the end of 2018, we will convene a general assembly and present a new Charter with highlights of the proposed main edits.
To be valid, the assembly must have participation of at least 50% (+1) of NaMeX’s members. Members may also designate a delegate.
NaMeX will inform members of the date of the general assembly, along with a list of proposed changes, by the end of October.
